We are passionate about showcasing the best products of our region, and we love chatting to the local makers and growers as they hand deliver their goods.
But its ultimately about more than just a great product. Our stockists are passionate about what they do and are all conscious of their impact on the environment. They have a wealth of knowledge and are willing to share this information to educate us and inspire the next generation.
At Armstrong Creek Wholefoods, we are able to pass on to you the knowledge we’ve gained from the experts themselves. So, we encourage you to come in and ask about our products and get to know the story behind each of them.

How it all started…
Hi! My name is Sarah Main, and my partner, Chad, and I opened Winchelsea Wholefoods in December 2018.
We loved living in Winchelsea, but found ourselves still doing the majority of our shopping in Geelong. A space soon became available on Main Street, Winchelsea, and we said ‘let’s do it!’. Our beautiful shop was warmly welcomed by other locals who fully embraced the packaging-free shopping experience.
In 2020, we had our gorgeous son, Jack, and moved to South Australia. I still worked on the business remotely and visited as often as I could (which was difficult with state border closures!).
Over the years we have watched the development of land between Geelong and Torquay. The plans for Armstrong Creek Town Centre were very impressive and Stage One was under construction. With Winchelsea Wholefoods operating successfully, again we said ‘let’s do it!’, and in March 2022 we opened our second store in the Armstrong Creek Shopping Centre.
My amazing sister-in-law, Sarah Overton, is the smiling face you will see managing both locations, as I continue to work remotely from South Australia and visit frequently.
My beautiful staff and amazing customers have made Winchelsea Wholefoods and Armstrong Creek Wholefoods an essential part of the community and I couldn’t be prouder!
